Hey, I pushed a configuration profile from hexnode to set Safari’s homepage to a specific website. The issue is that when I open a new tab or window, it doesn’t load the homepage I set.

I used the following key for this, which I found online:

I’m new to this—are there any other keys I should configure to ensure new tabs and windows open with the intended page?

Yes, you can use the NewTabBehavior and NewWindowBehavior keys and set them to 0 to ensure new tabs and windows open with the homepage.

Thank you! I used the keys, deployed the configuration profile, and it’s working fine. But why are they set to 0?

Setting them to 0 makes new tabs and windows open with the homepage. Other values correspond to different behaviors—like 1 opening an empty page, and so on.

Hey, sorry to jump in, but since this is about safari and configuration profiles, I have a quick question. We use a different browser as the default, but every time someone opens safari, it shows a banner prompting them to set it as the default. Is there a way to disable that using a configuration profile?
