With this upcoming update, IT administrators will be able to configure managed Android devices running Android 12 and later to connect to Wi-Fi networks using WPA3 Enterprise standards—allowing you to choose the exact security level and authentication method that aligns with your organization’s compliance requirements.
What’s coming to your Wi-Fi policies:
- Standard (128-bit): Delivers 128-bit security with support for TLS, PEAP, TTLS, and PWD EAP authentication methods.
- High Security (192-bit): Delivers maximum 192-bit security optimized for sensitive network environments, supporting TLS as the EAP authentication method.
Whether you need broader EAP compatibility or high-grade encryption for strict enterprise environments, these upcoming profile options will offer greater flexibility when securing your Android fleet.
