I have a Windows device running in kiosk mode through Hexnode. File Explorer is available, but the Downloads folder cannot be accessed, and users are not able to download files into it while in kiosk. How to access this?

Hi @ame-lie,

In Windows kiosk mode, access to specific File Explorer locations can be restricted by the kiosk lockdown policy.

If users need to open or save files in the Downloads folder, make sure the Access Downloads Folder option is enabled in the kiosk lockdown section of the policy. After enabling the setting, save the policy and allow it to sync with the device. Restarting the affected Windows kiosk device is recommended to ensure the updated lockdown configuration is applied correctly.

Once this setting is enabled, users should be able to access Downloads in File Explorer and download files into that folder while the device is in kiosk mode.
