Certain security measures from our company needs to prevent sharing Microsoft office files on Windows devices. Is that possible via Hexnode?

Yes, it is possible. Please follow the below steps for the same:
- Go to the Policies tab. You can create a new policy or choose to edit an already existing one.
- Navigate to Windows-> Restrictions-> Allow App Settings.
- Disable the ‘Share Microsoft Office files’ option to disable the users from sharing Microsoft office files.
- Associate targets and save the policy.

Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.
We assume that the customer wanted to block the users from sharing the Microsoft office files, thus increasing the security of the corporate data. The sharing of these files can be blocked by enabling a restriction for Windows devices by Hexnode. The steps for this are mentioned above.
However, this feature is supported only on Windows 8.1 phones.
