Serial numbers missing when exporting device list from Applications reportSolved

Hi everyone. I’m trying to export the device list for a specific app from Reports > Built-in Reports > Applications > All Applications. I filtered the report for the app and exported it, but the serial number column is completely missing from the exported file.

This definitely used to work before, so I’m not sure if I’m missing a step or if something changed in a recent update. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I can certainly point you in the right direction! To ensure the serial numbers and other specific device identifiers are included in your export, you just need to make sure the devices are actively selected within the filtered list before initiating the export.

Here are the exact steps to get your serial numbers back in the exported file:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Built-in Reports > Applications > All Applications.
  2. Filter or search for your required application.
  3. Click to open the device list associated with that specific application.
  4. Select the checkboxes next to all the devices you want to include in the export (or use the select-all checkbox at the top of the list).
  5. Click Export and choose Device List as your export type.

Once the export is generated from this actively selected device list, the serial numbers will be successfully populated in your exported file just like before.
