Why is this happening?
Hi,
This behavior typically happens on Samsung devices running Android 15 or later due to built-in screen-share protection, which prevents sensitive content from being displayed to remote viewers.
Password fields, PIN prompts, and other sensitive content may therefore be hidden from remote viewers even though the content is displayed normally on the physical device.
To resolve this issue, disable the screen-share protection from the Samsung device’s Developer options. Before doing so, make sure the required settings are enabled in the Hexnode UEM policy associated with the device.
Step 1: Check the Hexnode UEM Policy
Step 2: Enable Developer Options on the Samsung device
A message indicating that Developer Options have been enabled should appear.
Step 3: Disable screen-share protection
On the Samsung device:
Once the required settings are configured, start a new Remote View session in Hexnode UEM portal to verify whether the affected screen is displayed correctly.
If you continue to experience the issue or face any other difficulties, feel free to reach out to us.

I followed these steps and enabled Disable screen share protection in Developer Options. The login screen is now visible through Remote View.
Does this mean that all black screens caused by Android 15 can be resolved by disabling this setting?
The issue may still occur if the black screen is caused by the application itself.
Some applications use Android’s FLAG_SECURE mechanism to prevent sensitive content from being captured or displayed through screenshots, screen recording, casting, or remote viewing.
Disabling Samsung’s screen-share protection does not guarantee that application–level FLAG_SECURE restrictions will be bypassed.
The result depends on what is causing the black screen:
