Is there a way to automatically execute a custom script on a new device as soon as it enrolls in Hexnode? I’m setting up new Windows devices and want the script to run without manually triggering it after each enrollment. I found the custom script option, but I’m not sure how to tie it to enrollment.

Yes. You can use Hexnode Automations to execute a custom script automatically when a device completes enrollment.

Steps:

1. Go to Automations > New Automation.

2. Select Execute Custom Script as the action.

3. Upload or select the script file you want to run.

4. Click Next.

5. Set the trigger condition as On Device Enrollment.

6. Click Next and configure the platform filter, such as Windows or macOS.

7. Save the automation.

Once saved, the automation will run the selected script when a newly enrolled device matches the configured platform filter.

So this runs right after the device is enrolled, not something I need to trigger manually from the device actions page?

Correct. If the trigger is set to On Device Enrollment, Hexnode automatically executes the configured script after the device completes enrollment and matches the selected platform filter. No manual remote action is required for each newly enrolled device.
