I removed Microsoft Word from a managed iPad because it wasn’t working properly, and now I need to add it back. The Hexnode UI seems to have changed, and when I open the Actions menu on the device page, I only see a few options. I’m not sure where the install app option went. How do I reinstall an app on an iPad from Hexnode?

Hi @mila_beck,
You can reinstall the app from the device page using the Install Application remote action.
Steps:
- Go to the iPad’s Device details page in the Hexnode portal.
- Click the Actions drop-down in the top-right corner.
- In the search field inside the Actions menu, type Install Application.
- Select Install Application from the results.
- Search for Microsoft Word or the required app.
- Select the app and proceed with the installation.
If the app was previously added to Hexnode through app management, it should appear in the app selection list. Once the action is initiated, the app installation command will be sent to the iPad.

That was it. I didn’t realize the Actions menu had a search field for more actions. It looked like there were only few options available in the dropdown.

The Actions menu may not display every available action at once. Searching inside the menu is the quickest way to find actions such as Install Application, especially if they are not immediately visible in the first set of options.
