iPads in Kiosk mode browse on Wi-Fi but not cellular dataSolved

We have multiple managed iPads where web browsing works on Wi-Fi, but not through the SIM. The SIMs are active, and the devices are in Kiosk mode through Hexnode. Could a Hexnode policy be blocking cellular browsing while still allowing Wi-Fi?

Hexnode does not include a specific policy restriction that blocks general web browsing only on cellular data while allowing the same browsing over Wi-Fi.

To isolate whether the issue is related to the MDM policy or the network connection, test one affected iPad by temporarily removing it from Kiosk mode or disassociating the active policy. After the policy is removed, restart the device if required and try browsing again using cellular data.

If cellular browsing still fails after the Hexnode policy is removed, the issue is unlikely to be caused by the Kiosk policy. In that case, the next checks should be on the carrier or cellular configuration side, such as SIM provisioning, carrier restrictions, APN settings, or the cellular data plan assigned to those SIMs.
