Has anyone else experienced major delays in the Hexnode portal when editing policies assigned to a large number of devices?

I currently have a single Android kiosk policy assigned to a little over 120 devices. Whenever I make even a small change to the policy, the Hexnode portal becomes extremely slow and sometimes does not reflect changes or respond properly for 45+ minutes afterward.

The devices are mostly Samsung Knox Android tablets running kiosk mode with apps deployed through the policy.

I’m trying to determine:

  • Is this expected behavior at this scale?

  • Could this be related to dynamic groups or app deployments?

  • Does splitting devices into multiple smaller policies improve performance?

  • Are others seeing very long backend processing times after policy edits?

At this point, even basic policy edits seem to cause the entire portal to hang for an extended period.

Curious to hear how others are structuring large kiosk deployments in Hexnode.
