Android kiosk screen timeout not working after disabling Keep Screen OnSolved

I’m using an Android kiosk policy and the device display stays on all the time. I set the screen timeout to 3 minutes under Android restrictions, but the screen still does not turn off. The confusing part is that Keep screen On is not checked in the kiosk policy anymore. The device has checked in and synced recently, but it still sits on the kiosk screen indefinitely. Is there another setting that can override the Android screen timeout?

I had already unchecked Keep screen On and the device checked in again after I powered it back on. The screen timeout is set to 3 minutes, but the screen still stays on while in kiosk.

Deleting the whole Keep screen On row worked. The kiosk device now turns the screen off after the timeout. Just unchecking the option did not seem to clear it in my case. Is that expected behavior, or is it a bug? I would have assumed unchecking the box was enough.
