Technician gets “Oops!” on every Hexnode dashboard page after role setupSolved

I created a new technician in Hexnode and assigned a custom role that was cloned from an Admin-type role. The technician completed the password setup, but when they log in, every dashboard page shows an “Oops!” error.
I checked the assigned role, gave access to all device groups and domains in the scope, and even tried assigning a known working role. The same error still appears. The technician also tried incognito mode, another browser, and a different machine, but nothing changed.
Has anyone seen this happen with a newly created technician account?

This usually needs to be narrowed down between a role/scope issue and a technician-account issue.
Since the same “Oops!” page appears even after assigning a known working role and testing from different browsers or machines, it is unlikely to be caused by browser cache or the cloned role alone.
Recommended checks:
1. Go to Admin > Technicians and Roles.
2. Open the affected technician and confirm the assigned role.
3. Open the role and verify the enabled permissions.
4. Check the role scope, including device groups, domains, and user-related scopes.
5. If the technician still cannot load any allowed page after assigning a known working role, delete the affected technician account and create it again.
In this scenario, recreating the technician account is the practical fix when the account appears to be created incorrectly and fails across all portal pages.
