we are testing Hexnode today and i have a couple of questions we successfully uploaded VPP to our test account .do we have to also create our DEP account to the system? how do we enroll devices to the MDM?

You can add DEP account in Hexnode to enroll and supervise the corporate apple devices. Have a look at the below link on how to configure the DEP in Hexnode.

Hey, I enrolled my Mac devices using DEP. When I add a user account in the configuration profile the users are not receiving a prompt to create a new user account. How to fix this?

Thank you for reaching out to us!
If you configure a user account in the DEP Configuration Profile, the user account will get automatically created upon device enrollment. Hence, the user will not receive a prompt to create a user account while setting up the device for the first time.
