When a zero-day vulnerability hits or a scan flags a critical missing update, every second counts. Building an automation profile from scratch just to push an urgent patch can slow down your response time. Not anymore.
With the new Install action in the Patches tab, IT admins can move from identifying a patch to deploying it in just a few clicks—without building an automation profile from scratch. Whether it’s a critical security update or a missing third-party patch, you can now act on it right where you find it.
What’s new

One-click patch deployment: Bypass the manual automation creation for installing patches. Select one or more patches directly from the Patches tab and use the Install action to kick off the deployment workflow.

Pre-populated automation: Selected patches are automatically added to the generated automation profile, so there’s no need to select them again.

Flexible targeting: Choose Included Groups, Excluded Groups, or use custom filters to control exactly which devices receive the patches.

More control before deployment: Add pre-install and post-install scripts or configure platform-specific automation rules when needed.

Deploy without delay: Once you review and save the automation, the selected patches are deployed immediately to the targeted devices.
Supported platforms: The Install action is currently available for Windows and macOS devices.
