Enroll Zebra WT6300 Android 13 without camera using afw#hexnodemdmSolved

We have a few Zebra WT6300 devices running Android 13 that need to be enrolled in Hexnode as Device Owner. These devices do not have cameras, so the usual QR code enrollment method is not an option.

We had enrolled this model before, but nobody on our team could remember the exact process. Is there a no-camera Android Enterprise enrollment method for these devices?

Hi @schyler-scott,

For Android devices without a camera, such as the Zebra WT6300, you can use Android Enterprise text-based setup enrollment with the Hexnode Device Owner code.

Use the following steps:

1. Factory reset the Zebra WT6300, or start from the out-of-the-box setup screen.
2. Connect the device to a Wi-Fi network.
3. When the setup wizard asks for a Google account or email address, enter afw#hexnodemdm
4. Tap Next.
5. Android will automatically download and launch the Hexnode installer.
6. Follow the on-screen prompts and grant the required permissions to complete Device Owner enrollment.

This method is intended for Android Enterprise enrollment during the initial device setup flow, so the device should be in a factory-reset or out-of-box state.
