When I try to create a new geofence in Hexnode, the location is not getting picked up because the map itself does not load. It is not just the address search failing, the whole map area stays blank. Has anyone seen this while setting up geofencing?

A blank geofence map while creating a geofence is commonly caused by something in the browser environment blocking the map service. The most common causes are browser extensions, cached site data, or network restrictions.
As a quick check, open the Hexnode UEM portal in an incognito/private browsing window and try creating the geofence again. This helps bypass cached data and disables most extensions by default.
If the map loads in incognito/private mode, the issue is likely with one of the following:
- Cached browser data
- An ad blocker or privacy extension
- A script-blocking extension
- A network or firewall rule blocking map-related services
In that case, clear the browser cache for the Hexnode UEM portal, disable browser extensions one by one to identify the blocker, or check whether the network is restricting map services.

Tried opening the portal in an incognito window and the map loaded correctly there. I was able to create the geofence after that. So I cleared the browser cache and the issue got fixed.
Save
