Android unattended remote access without user consent is greyed outSolved

I’m managing Android devices enrolled directly in Hexnode, not through Samsung Knox. Is there a way to start Hexnode remote access without requiring the device user to approve the session each time?

I found the Android policy area, but the Troubleshooting section appears greyed out for me. Trying to confirm whether there’s another way to enable consent-free remote access on Android devices.

Hi @penelope,

If the Troubleshooting section is greyed out, it usually indicates that the feature is not included in the current Hexnode plan.

For Hexnode’s Android remote access workflow, consent-free unattended remote access requires the Unattended Remote Access feature, which is available from the Ultimate plan.

If that option is unavailable in the portal, there is no equivalent policy setting or workaround within Hexnode to achieve the same consent-free remote access behavior on the current plan. Standard remote access sessions will continue to require user approval where unattended access is not enabled.
