I have a macOS policy where a third-party app is added under App Management > Required Apps. The app was uploaded to Hexnode as a DMG, but the file in the portal is an older version. Newly enrolled Macs are still getting that older installer first, even though the app later updates itself.
I want to replace the DMG with a newer version, but I’m concerned Hexnode might uninstall the app from existing Macs or reset the app’s local configuration. What is the correct way to update this kind of macOS enterprise app?
