For Android remote control, screen viewing and device control depend on separate permissions and real-time communication between the device and the Hexnode portal.
If you can view the screen but cannot control it, check the following:
1. The user must accept the initial remote control permission prompt on the Android device when remote control is requested for the first time.
2. Accessibility permission must be enabled for the Hexnode Assist app on the device. Without this permission, Hexnode may be able to display the screen but may not be able to send touch or click inputs.
3. The device should be on a stable network connection. Remote control relies on live screen streaming and real-time input synchronization, so high latency or an unstable connection can make Request Control appear unresponsive.
If the permission prompt does not appear, verify the Hexnode Assist accessibility permission first, then retry the remote control session on a stable network.
