Android File Explorer and Remote View missing on Ultimate planSolved

I’m using Hexnode with Android devices and expected to see File Explorer and Remote View under the device actions. The portal is on the Ultimate plan, but neither option appears when I open an Android device from the Manage tab. Are these features supposed to be available on Ultimate, or is there another setting that needs to be enabled?

File Explorer and Remote View are supported for Android devices and are included in the Ultimate plan. If both options are missing from the Android device action menu, first confirm that the portal is correctly showing the Ultimate subscription:

  1. Go to Admin.
  2. Open License.
  3. Check whether the current plan is displayed as Ultimate.

If the plan already shows Ultimate but the actions are still unavailable, the portal license permissions may not have refreshed correctly. In trial portals where plan switching is available, you can refresh the license state by temporarily changing the plan and switching it back:

  1. Go to Admin > License.
  2. Change the plan from Ultimate to Enterprise.
  3. Save or update the change.
  4. Change the plan back to Ultimate.
  5. Save or update again.
  6. Return to Manage, open an Android device, and check the available device actions. After the license refresh, File Explorer and Remote View should appear for supported Android devices.

This happened to me on a trial portal too. The plan showed the right tier, but the Android remote actions were not visible until the license page was saved again. Toggling the plan and switching it back refreshed the available features.
