I’m setting up a batch of iPads and want to clean up the Home Screen by removing default Apple apps that users don’t need, like Apple Books, Apple News, Freeform, Find My, Games, and similar apps.
For apps deployed through Hexnode, I can uninstall them from the device page. But for the built-in iOS apps, I’ve been manually deleting them one by one during setup, which is time-consuming.
I looked at app allowlist policies, but I’m not sure that fits because I don’t necessarily want to block every app that isn’t pre-approved. I mainly want to hide or remove access to selected default iOS apps across supervised iPads.
Is there a way to do this from the Hexnode portal instead of manually deleting each app?
