Hi everyone. A device is currently locked in Hexnode Kiosk Mode and I need to deactivate or exit the kiosk screen to troubleshoot. I’m not seeing an obvious option on the device to close it. What is the correct way to get out of Kiosk Mode from the device side?

Thanks for reaching out to Hexnode Connect.
If the device is currently stuck in Kiosk Mode, you can easily exit it directly from the device using the Global Exit Passcode configured in your Hexnode portal.
Here are the steps to exit:
- On the device’s kiosk screen, quickly tap anywhere on the screen 5 to 8 times in quick succession (some devices may require up to 10 taps depending on your policy configuration).
- A password prompt will appear.
- Enter the Global Exit Passcode.
- Once authenticated, the device will exit the kiosk lock screen.
You can locate this specific passcode in your Hexnode portal by navigating to Admin > General Settings > Global Exit Settings.
