Mac enrollment stuck in Google SSO loopSolved

Hey folks, got a weird one. One of our users trying to enroll a mac with Google SSO, user logs in fine, but it just loops back to the start. I’ve checked console, she’s showing up like 13 times under users but no devices. Anyone seen this?

Yeah man, duplicates usually mess things up. I deleted the extra profiles and it worked for me.

Hello @monty ,

The enrollment loop is likely caused by the duplicate user profiles. Hexnode UEM cannot map the device to a single account when multiple copies exist.

Here’s the resolution:

  • Go to Manage > Users in the console.
  • Search for the affected user, select all duplicates with 0 devices, and delete them.
  • Keep only one active profile, ideally the one synced from Google Workspace.

After cleaning up, ask the user to restart the Mac and retry enrollment. If the loop continues, confirm the Mac’s Date & Time is set to update automatically, as mismatched clocks can invalidate Google SSO tokens.
