Hi team,

Is it possible to get back a user who has been disenrolled from Hexnode UEM?

Hello @im_jaymes

No, once a user has been removed from the Hexnode UEM portal, it is not possible to reinstate the user.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

Yes, when I turn on a wiped iPad, it still tries to connect to Hexnode UEM during setup. But the device was already disenrolled.

How can I completely remove Hexnode UEM from the device?

Okay,

To assist you better, could you please confirm whether the device is added to Apple Business Manager (ABM)?

Okay! When a device is enrolled in Apple Business Manager (ABM) and assigned to Hexnode UEM, the enrollment profile gets pushed automatically after the device is wiped. This is why the iPad continues to connect to Hexnode UEM during setup.

To completely remove Hexnode UEM from the device,

  1. Log in to Apple Business Manager
  2. Navigate to Devices.
  3. Search for the specific iPad.
  4. Click on the top-right horizontal ellipsis button > Unassign Device Management.

Once unassigned in ABM, go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad and select Erase All Content and Settings on the iPad. The device will no longer be a part of Hexnode UEM.

Regards,
C,
Hexnode UEM.
