Hey people, is there an option to temporarily disable 2FA for development purposes? We’re currently working on app development and testing at work. So, the two-factor authentication prompts are causing some delays.

We also had a similar concern earlier. From what we’ve seen, 2FA seems to be enforced for certain actions in the portal, so disabling it might not be possible.

Hey, @penelope Two-factor authentication is mandatory in Hexnode for critical actions such as device reset, disenrollment, and other sensitive operations. At this time, it cannot be disabled, even for development workflows. That said, the feedback is valid, and enhancements to improve the overall experience are being planned on the portal side.

Okay, cool. We also needed to enable Developer mode on the test Android devices remotely from the portal. Is this possible?

Sure @penelope , you can do this. You can configure a policy for enabling Developer mode on Android devices. Navigate to Policies > Android > Advanced RestrictionsUnder the Allow Settingsenable the settings Developer mode and USB debugging as required. Once the policy is applied, Developer mode will be available on the device for testing purposes.
