Hey everyone! We’re excited to roll out some new updates to the Automate feature that give you more control and enhanced security. Let’s dive into what’s new:
Device Lock and Wipe based on inactivity
You can now configure automated actions based on device inactivity:
- On Device Inactive: Triggers the action when the device becomes inactive.
- On Device Inactive For: Triggers the action when the device remains inactive for a specified duration. You can define the inactivity period in minutes.
Enhanced reporting with filters in automation profiles
Generate more focused automation reports using the new filter options. You can now export reports based on:
- Actions included in the automation profile.
- Technicians who created the automation.
- Action status.
BitLocker actions now in Automation
Strengthen data protection with the newly added BitLocker actions:
- Force BitLocker Encryption: Automate the process of enabling BitLocker encryption on Windows devices.
- Force BitLocker Decryption: Need to disable BitLocker encryption? Automate that too.
- Rotate BitLocker Recovery Password: Automate password rotation for all or specific drives – your choice, your rules.
Run Now & Initiate Automation remote action
- You can now use the Run Now option to instantly execute automations that were originally scheduled for a later time on targeted devices.
- Launch the created automations anytime using the Initiate Automation remote action.
