Hexnode UEM now supports blocklisting and allowlisting web URLs on Windows devices across multiple browsers, including Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. Whether restricting access to distracting websites in a corporate environment or enforcing safe browsing policies in schools, this update makes it simple and effective. Key supported features include:
- Supports different URL types: http://, https://, and ftp://.
- URLs can be added individually or in bulk using a CSV file.
- If a URL is blocklisted, it remains blocked even if another policy attempts to allowlist it.
