A previously managed Android device was disenrolled from Hexnode, and a new technician needs to enroll it again. Is there anything extra that has to be done before re-enrolling, or can we just follow the normal Android enrollment steps?

Re-enrollment is possible, but the required preparation depends on the Android enrollment method being used.
For Android enrollment workflows that take place during the device setup process, such as Android Enterprise device owner enrollment, QR code enrollment, Zero-Touch Enrollment, or Samsung Knox Mobile Enrollment, the device generally needs to be at the initial setup screen. In practice, this usually means performing a factory reset before enrolling it again.
If the enrollment method does not require setup-screen enrollment, follow the prerequisites for that specific method instead.
The important point is that a device being previously disenrolled does not create a single universal re-enrollment step. Confirm the enrollment method your organization uses, then follow the prerequisites for that method before starting enrollment.
