Hello r_foster,
For Android Enterprise devices, Microsoft Teams should first be available in the app repository before it can be added to a kiosk policy.
If Teams does not appear through the usual Managed Google Play search, add it manually using its Android package name:
- Go to Apps tab.
- Select + Add Apps.
- Choose the option to add an app using the Bundle ID.
- Add the app with these details:
- App name: Microsoft Teams
- Platform: Android
- Package name: com.microsoft.teams
- Add the app.
Then add it to the kiosk policy:
- Go to Policies and open the Android kiosk policy.
- Navigate to Android Kiosk Lockdown > Multi App.
- Add Microsoft Teams from Local Apps.
- Save and associate the policy with the required devices.
Also check whether Teams has been added under Background Apps in the same kiosk policy. Apps configured as background apps are meant to run without being shown as launchable kiosk apps. If users need to open Teams from the kiosk screen, remove it from Background Apps and add it under Multi App instead.

Simon Scott
