iPad Hexnode UEM enrollment loop and Single App Kiosk not startingSolved

I’m setting up an iPad in Hexnode and ran into two issues. The device enrolled through Safari, but I initially downloaded the Hexnode UEM app manually from the App Store. After opening it, the app keeps asking me to enroll again even though the management profile is installed. I removed the app and the MDM profile, re-enrolled the iPad, and trusted the profile under VPN & Device Management. The profile installs fine, but I don’t get the automatic prompt to install the Hexnode UEM app. I also created a Single App Kiosk policy and assigned it to the iPad, but the app does not launch into kiosk mode. What should I check?

For the enrollment loop, make sure the Hexnode UEM app is installed as a managed app from Hexnode rather than manually from the public App Store.
If the app is installed manually, it may not associate correctly with the MDM profile already installed on the iPad. This can make the app behave as if the device is not enrolled and repeatedly show the enrollment screen.
Recommended steps:
1. Uninstall the manually installed Hexnode UEM app.
2. Remove the existing management profile from **Settings > General > VPN & Device Management**.
3. Re-enroll the iPad using Safari and the Hexnode enrollment URL.
4. Install and trust the management profile when prompted.
5. Wait for the managed app installation prompt for Hexnode UEM.
If the app prompt does not appear, you can also try pushing it manually from Hexnode using **Manage > Devices > select the iPad > Actions > Applications > Install application**, then choose **Hexnode UEM**.
If the install action fails, check the action status for the exact failure reason. That usually points to whether the issue is with the ap
