iOS Enrollment says admin is not authorized to enroll devicesSolved

i was trying to enroll my first iOS device in hexnode and got this message during the account sign-in step: “You are not authorized to enroll any devices. Please contact an administrator.” 

The confusing part is that I am the administrator, and I have enrolled other devices before. this was only happening while trying to install the ios MDM profile. Has anyone seen this during iPhone or iPad enrollment?

This message typically appears during the iOS enrollment authorization step when the account prompt is not accepted or processed correctly by the device. 

If your administrator account is valid and you are already at the iOS profile installation stage, simply try accepting the account authorization prompt again and continue with the MDM profile installation. Once the profile is installed successfully, the device will become manageable. 

After the installation completes, please confirm that the MDM profile is present on the iOS device and that the device is listed correctly in your Hexnode portal.
