Hi @lila_ace,
This prompt usually appears when iOS is trying to install an app without a valid managed app license, such as when there are no available VPP licenses for the app being deployed.
However, if the app action history shows that a built-in Apple system app, such as Notes, was added under Required Apps, remove it from the policy. Built-in system apps are already present on iOS devices and should not be re-added as required apps through app deployment.
To check this:
- Go to Policies.
- Open the policy associated with the device.
- Navigate to iOS > App Management > Required Apps.
- Look for Apple system apps, especially apps with bundle IDs starting with ‘com.apple.‘.
- Remove those system apps from Required Apps.
- Save and re-associate the policy if required.
Adding pre-installed system apps as required apps can leave the installation action in a Pending state and may repeatedly trigger the Apple ID / “Continue with iTunes” prompt on the device.
Best Regards,
Isabel Lora
