Change Owner option grayed out for an iPad in Hexnode Device tabSolved

I’m trying to change the owner of an enrolled iPad from the device page in Hexnode, but the Change Owner action is grayed out. The same option works for other devices. Another admin checked from their console too and sees the same behavior for this iPad. Logging out and back in did not make any difference. Is there another way to change the owner, or is this expected for some iPads?

If the Change Owner option is available for other devices but appears grayed out only for a specific iPad, it is unlikely to be a role permission issue.

In such cases, try changing the owner from the device list instead of the individual Device tab:

  1. Go to Manage > Devices.
  2. Select the checkbox next to the affected iPad.
  3.  Click the Actions dropdown at the top.
  4. Select Change Owner.

    If this option is available from the device list, it points to a display or rendering issue in the individual device view rather than a restriction on changing ownership.
