Two-factor authentication cannot be disabled for certain critical actions in Hexnode.
Actions such as device disenrollment, clearing app data, and user deletion require additional authentication to prevent accidental or unauthorized changes. Because of this, Hexnode may prompt for 2FA each time one of these critical actions is performed.
To reduce repeated prompts when applying the same action to multiple devices, use bulk actions instead of performing the action device by device:
1. Go to Manage > Devices.
2. Select the required devices.
3. Click the Actions Tab.
4. Choose the required action and confirm it.
When the action is performed in bulk, the 2FA verification is required only once for that bulk operation.
Another option is to configure Single Sign-On for the Hexnode portal. With SSO, authentication and MFA can be handled through your identity provider, such as Okta, Google, or Microsoft Entra ID, which can make the verification flow easier than waiting for email OTPs.
