My biggest headache is real-time visibility with remote workers. Apple’s standard MDM architecture relies heavily on periodic check-ins rather than an active, continuous agent telemetry stream. If a user closes their laptop lid or works offline for three days, we have zero real-time visibility into their device health, patch status, or FileVault encryption compliance. Catching missing security patches across a distributed workforce feels like playing catch-up weeks after a zero-day is announced.
