I uploaded a file in Hexnode under Content, but it is not appearing on my Android tablet. I assumed adding it to Content would push it to the device automatically. What else needs to be configured to make the file show up on the tablet?

Hi @it_christo,
Adding a file to the Content section only makes it available in Hexnode. To deploy it to an Android device, you need to configure a File Management policy and assign it to the target tablet.
Try the following:
- Go to Policies.
- Create a new policy or edit an existing Android policy.
- Navigate to Android > File Management.
- Click Configure.
- Select the file and enter the destination path where the file should be copied on the device.
- Example: /storage/emulated/0/Hexnode
- Specify the file name if required.
- Click Add.
- Assign the policy to the Android tablet or device group.
- Save the policy.
After the policy is saved and synced, check the configured destination folder on the device. The file should appear there if the path and policy assignment are correct.

That makes sense. I had only uploaded the file under Content and did not assign it through a policy. After creating the Android File Management policy and adding the destination path, it showed up on the tablet.

One thing that tripped me up before: the destination path has to be the actual path on the Android device. If the file is not visible, check the device action history for the policy status and confirm that the file manager app on the tablet is looking in the same folder path configured in Hexnode.
