Android devices stuck on Disenrollment Initiated in HexnodeSolved

I’m trying to disenroll a large batch of Android devices from Hexnode. The action shows as “Disenrollment initiated,” but the devices are still visible in the enrolled device list and seem to be occupying licenses.
Some of these devices may not be actively checking in with the portal anymore. Is there a way to remove them from Hexnode if the normal disenrollment command does not complete?

If a device is not actively checking in with Hexnode UEM, the disenrollment command may remain in the initiated state because the device has not received or executed the command.

For devices that are no longer communicating with the portal, you can force-remove them by marking them as disenrolled:

  1. Go to Reports > Disenrollment Pending Devices.
  2. Select the devices that are stuck in the pending state.
  3. Click Action.
  4. Select Mark as Disenrolled.

This removes the device records from the Hexnode UEM portal and frees up the associated device licenses.

Use this option only when you are sure the devices do not need to complete the normal disenrollment flow through check-in. If the devices are online and expected to communicate with Hexnode, allowing them to check in and complete the command is the cleaner approach.
