Can I delete default public store apps from the Hexnode Apps tab?Solved

I noticed a large number of public store apps already listed under the Apps tab in our Hexnode portal. We didn’t manually add them, and I mainly want the inventory to show only our Enterprise apps and VPP apps.

Can these default store apps be deleted safely, or will that affect our Enterprise apps, VPP licenses, or app policies?

Yes @wyatt_simmons , you can delete those public store apps from the Hexnode App Inventory if you do not need them.

When a Hexnode UEM portal is initially created, a standard set of commonly used public store applications may be added to the App Inventory by default. This is intended to make initial app setup easier.

To remove them:

  1. Go to Apps.
  2. Select the public store apps using the checkboxes.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

Deleting these default public store apps will not remove your Enterprise apps or VPP apps. It also will not affect VPP licenses. However, if any of the deleted store apps are actively referenced in an app policy, that app assignment would no longer apply from the inventory. If these apps were never used in your policies, deleting them is safe.
