One of our managed iPhone users needs to change the PIN they use to unlock the device, but the option to change the passcode is locked on the phone. What is the best way to let the user set a new iPhone passcode from Hexnode?

You can use the Clear Password remote action from Hexnode to remove the current passcode from the managed iPhone. Once the passcode is cleared, the user can set a new passcode on the device.

Steps:

1. Go to Manage > Devices.

2. Select the affected iPhone.

3. Click Actions.

4. Go to Security > Clear Password.

5. Confirm the action.

This does not assign a new passcode remotely. It clears the existing passcode so the user can configure a new PIN on the iPhone afterward.
