We manage our iPhones with Hexnode and personal iCloud accounts are not allowed by our organization. The devices are up to date, but when a user opens FaceTime, it prompts them to sign in with an Apple account.
Is there a way to use FaceTime on managed iOS devices without allowing users to sign in with personal Apple IDs? Can Hexnode deploy or enable FaceTime without the Apple ID prompt?

FaceTime is a native Apple service and requires an Apple ID to be signed in before it can be used. Hexnode cannot bypass this Apple requirement or enable FaceTime authentication without an Apple account on the device.
If your organization does not permit personal iCloud accounts, the recommended approach is to use Managed Apple IDs created in Apple Business Manager. These accounts are owned and controlled by the organization, so users can sign in to FaceTime without using personal Apple IDs.
Recommended workflow:
1. Create Managed Apple IDs for the required users in Apple Business.
2. Share the Managed Apple ID credentials with the assigned users according to your internal process.
3. Have users sign in to FaceTime using the Managed Apple ID instead of a personal Apple ID.
4. Continue using Hexnode policies to enforce your organization’s iOS restrictions and compliance requirements.
This keeps FaceTime usable while avoiding personal iCloud account sign-ins on corporate-managed devices.
