Google Workspace authentication failing during Windows enrollment and daily login with Hexnode AccessSolved

I’m testing Windows device enrollment with Google Workspace as the identity source. The Windows enrollment screen shows an option to authenticate with Google, but users cannot sign in with their Google Workspace credentials.

I also don’t see a Google option under Directory Services or Integrations for syncing users. Is Google Workspace authentication supported for Windows enrollment, and can the same Google credentials be used for daily Windows login as well?

Google Workspace authentication for Windows enrollment requires the Google Workspace domain to be integrated with Hexnode first.

To configure it, go to:

Admin > Google Workspace

Complete the Google Workspace integration for your domain. Once the integration is active, users from the Google Workspace directory can authenticate with their Google credentials during Windows MDM enrollment.

If Google Workspace has not been integrated yet, the authentication option may appear during enrollment, but user authentication will fail because Hexnode cannot validate users from the Google Workspace domain.
