Hi, I’m trying to set up Hexnode Assist on an Android 13 device. The app installs fine, but under Settings > Accessibility, the Hexnode Assist option is greyed out and I can’t enable it.

When I tap on it, the device shows:

“Restricted Setting For your security, this setting is currently unavailable”

Is there any workaround for this?

This can happen on Android 13 devices due to the additional security restrictions around accessibility permissions.

On the device, please navigate to:

Settings > Apps > Hexnode Assist

Then tap the 3-dot menu at the top right and select Allow restricted settings.

After that, try enabling the Accessibility permission for Hexnode Assist again.

Just tried remoting into the device from the Hexnode portal and it’s working now.

Thanks a lot for the help!
