Hi team, I need to completely remove Hexnode UEM from a Windows laptop, but I don’t want to lose any files. What’s the best way to do this?

Hello @eliiza ,
You can use the Disenroll device action from the Hexnode portal. If the device is online, this will remove the Hexnode agent and all associated policies without affecting user files.

I tried that, but the disenrollment failed because the laptop isn’t connected to the internet. Is there another way?

If the device is offline, disenrollment won’t go through immediately. The action will only apply once the device connects back to the internet. The alternative method is manual removal, which requires physical access to the laptop. That involves deleting the work accounts and removing specific registry keys.

Got it. I’ll try the manual removal method.
