Hey, I wanted to know whether I can install apps on FireOS silently, like without any user intervention? I have a few devices which I intend to use for warehouse management, so it would be helpful if I could install on-the-go basically.

@penelope , Aren’t all app installations in Android silent for Hexnode? So technically, it should also be the same for FireOS.

Hello @penelope and @ronnie , In FireOS management through Hexnode, app installation is not a silent process, rather, it requires manual user inputs to complete.
Once the desired app is set to install in the device through the Required apps policy or through the Install Application remote action, the app gets added to the Apps section in the Hexnode UEM mobile app. The device user will be notified of the app addition, and they are required to manually click on the app, from the section, to install it.
As far as store apps are concerned, FireOS utilizes the Amazon Appstore to install applications. Once the user clicks on the app from the Apps section in the Hexnode UEM app, they will be redirected to the Appstore, where they must manually initiate the app download. The Install Application action remains in the Initiated status until the app is fully downloaded from the Appstore.
