Hey,

I want to enable notifications for the Hexnode agent on all our Macs using the App Notifications policy. The policy requires the app’s bundle ID. Where can I find the bundle ID for the Hexnode agent app?

Hi @jayceon,

There are several ways to find an app’s bundle ID, but the method below is the easiest way to identify it using Hexnode. You can also refer to our help documentation for additional methods.

Find bundle ID from the Manage tab

To find the bundle ID of an app installed on a macOS device:

  1. Go to Manage > Devices in your Hexnode portal.
  2. Select any macOS device and open the Applications sub-tab.
  3. Search for the app (in this case, Hexnode UEM).
  4. In the Identifier column, you’ll find the bundle ID.

For the Hexnode UEM app, the bundle ID is com.hexnode.hexnodeuem.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to reach out if you need any help.
