We are introducing Self Service support for Windows devices. Standard account users can request temporary administrative privileges when they need to perform specific tasks. This helps users stay productive without requiring constant IT intervention, while still maintaining control over device security.
Users can request elevated access from the Hexnode UEM app on their Windows device. Admins can configure how long each access request lasts and set limits on how many times it can be used per day. Once the configured time expires, the user automatically returns to its original privilege level.
This offers flexibility for end users while ensuring that administrative access remains controlled and temporary.
