Hi, Mark.

You have got to install our AD agent on your new server to sync the AD with Hexnode MDM. Have a look at this guide on Hexnode MDM AD agent.

Once you’re done setting up the agent, you should log in to your Hexnode MDM portal and configure the settings for your new AD. Here are a couple more help articles on policies and management

If you need a hand with the configuration, let us know and we’ll be happy to help you.

Thanks and regards

Where can I view the AD users listed on the portal?

Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

Please navigate to Manage-> Users. On the right side of the screen will be the option to filter the users, based on user type, enrollment status and domains. Enable the Active Directory option under User Type to display the users added through Active Directory integration, along with their Email, Phone Number, Domain, Department, Office Location, etc.

Cheers!

How often does AD account gets synced with Hexnode MDM? Can this be done manually?

Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

You can schedule the sync from the portal. Navigate to Admin-> Active Directory for configuring an AD agent service. This opens up the Agent Settings page when you first configure an Active Directory. If an AD is already configured, you can click on the ‘+’ icon to add a new one.
While configuring the Active Directory settings, you will have the option to set how often the AD should get synced. You can configure the sync settings on daily/weekly basis, and choose the days of the week and set the time of the day for the sync to happen. Once you have configured the settings, click Save.

Check out Microsoft Active Directory integration to know more.

Cheers!
