Greetings Hexnode Community!

We have some exciting updates on the horizon! Getting the right apps to the right users just got a whole lot easier. To help you streamline application management and empower your end-users, we are bringing two major enhancements to the Hexnode App Catalog for Windows and macOS.

1. Deployment of .exe Applications via the App Catalog (Windows)

What’s New?

You will soon have the ability to deploy .exe files directly through the Hexnode App Catalog.

How it Helps

With this upcoming update, you can populate your App Catalog with approved .exe applications, empowering your end-users to browse, download, and install the software they need for themselves. This self-service approach reduces IT helpdesk tickets while ensuring users only access admin-approved software.

2. Add Hexnode Store Apps to the App Catalog (Windows & macOS)

What’s New?

You will be able to add applications directly from the Hexnode Store into your App Catalog for both Windows and macOS environments.

How it Helps

Managing applications across different repositories can complicate your deployment workflows. This new capability bridges the gap between the Hexnode Store and your user-facing App Catalog. By allowing you to source and push apps directly from the Hexnode Store into your existing app ecosystem, you can centralize application management, streamline deployment, and ensure your macOS and Windows users have immediate access to the tools they need.

Stay tuned! These features will be rolling out in an upcoming release.

Cheers,

Kylian Parker
