I’m trying to push an app to one of our Macs from Hexnode, but the Install Application button is greyed out. The Mac is enrolled and visible in the portal, but I can’t trigger the install action from the device page. Is this caused by a missing subscription feature or something wrong with the device setup?

The Install Application remote action for macOS devices is available only from the Ultimate plan onward.

If the button is greyed out for a Mac, and the device is otherwise enrolled and communicating with Hexnode, it can be due to the subscription plan not including macOS desktop app management. For example, on plans where macOS app deployment is restricted, Hexnode disables the Install Application action for Mac devices.

To deploy applications remotely to MacBooks using this action, the subscription must include macOS desktop app management, such as the Ultimate plan or higher.
