Hi @mila_beck
Yes, Hexnode supports managing Linux devices for kiosk and digital signage.
Here’s how your requirements can be addressed:
-
- Running a specific app continuously: Using the Linux Kiosk policy, you can configure the device to run a specified application and restrict access to the rest of the system. This ensures the device operates only within the defined app environment.
- Restarting the app if it closes: The kiosk configuration ensures that if the configured application is closed or interrupted, it relaunches to maintain the kiosk experience.
- Monitoring from the Hexnode portal: You can monitor the device status directly from the Hexnode UEM portal. Find the required device from the Manage tab to view all the necessary details associated with the device. Additionally, Remote View and Remote Control are supported for Linux devices, allowing administrators to access and manage the device without the need to be physically present.
You can also organize devices into groups and apply kiosk policy to multiple devices at once for easier management.
